Second Chance for Secondary Retail

Even in an environment where interest rates are at an at all-time low, liquidity an all-time high and capital in plentiful supply for even non-core retail, widely divergent opinions exist among various retail investment camps on how best to take advantage of opportunities in the current market. That much was clear from a panel discussion held last week as part of the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) annual New England Conference & Deal Making event at the John B. Hynes Convention Center. The three day conference featuring exhibits by developers, landlords and retailers plus a keynote address by New England retail icon Stephen R.
